Self-Compassion

I have been learning self-compassion for a few years - and this has helped me become less harsh and self-critical with myself, and also to be more authentic. No longer am I so caught up in whether I am good, bad, right or wrong...I am learning to just BE more!  Self-compassion is based on mindfulness, gentleness towards ourselves and nurturing our sense of human interconnectedness. 

Along with Dr Thuli Whitehouse, I am running a retreat for doctors on 11-13th November 2016. She will be leading yoga practices, and I will be leading mindfulness and self-compassion practices. We are creating a space for renewal and for our busy medic colleagues to really enter into a state of wellbeing and ease.
